naive. It became clear very quickly that the

                            only jobs open to me were right at the

                            bottom.






                            In fact the best

                            job I could  nd…


                            was in the kitchen


                            at a Taco Bell…





                            This was a million miles away from what I had


                            envisaged. The boss treated me just like he

                            treated all the other employees… like a piece

                            of dirt he’d found on the bottom of his shoe.

                            It was just terrible.





                            Then Covid came along. Now at this point I

                            started to consider myself fortunate. Folk

                            were unable to come to the restaurant to eat


                            but we remained open for deliveries. Which

                            meant that, unlike many other people at that

                            time, I still had a job to go to. But I must be


                            honest this didn’t give me much comfort





                                                              These were hard

                                                              times for all of us


                                                              and I started to


                                                              become very


                                                              depressed.
